A beautiful stone also known as Appaloosa or Crazy Horse Stone. It is not a true turquoise, but a mixture of magnesite and hematite. It is found in the Southern Arizona area of the Gila Wilderness. It is called "turquoise" due to it being found in a turquoise mine. The name resembles a spotted brown and white pinto horse.
